The kids have been on summer vacation for three days now. Now, I know I haven’t given it much of a shot…but seriously? Where is the vacation? And where is the summer? It hasn’t been above 60 degrees since their last day of school. I had to dig out the winter coats for soccer even! Our late night bonfire, we were freezing! Heat, turned back ON! I don’t enjoy running my heater!
Vacation…well, with kids home there is very few opportunities for a vacation. Unless of course it is a vacation from silence during the day. Vacation from running quickly to the store, alone. Vacation from getting things done without interruption. If that is the case, then yes, I am in fact on vacation!
