Another year has gone by, not sure where it went. I am sure you are thinking about 2008, but no, I am thinking about my sweet baby Squeaky! She is 4 years old today!
I think it is harder this time. I know, this is the first time she has turned 4, but not the first time one of my children have turned 4. With Bug I thought she would be my last baby, but she seemed so old. She was ready to be four, I was ready for her to be four! She had followed her brothers lead for 4 years and just acted, well OLD!
With Squeaky, she is for sure my last, and she didn’t have that sibling so close in age to make her age any faster. She is just growing up much faster than I want! The years go by much faster these days. Maybe it is just that we are doing so much more each day, maybe it is I have less time each day to spend with each kid. Maybe it is just because I don’t have a calendar so I am not checking each day off like I used to! A week can slip by before I realize it has even been a day!!

Wow, time does fly and I know how you feel. Cole will be 3 in a few weeks and it freaks me out. When he turned 2, I wanted to have another baby but Dennis vetoed me so now I just have to cherish the last remains of toddlerhood.
