Leaving Virginia Beach…Not only am I leaving my two oldest for the first time EVER for this long, I am leaving driving my brother’s vehicle, pulling my brother-in-laws boat. You would think that would be enough to set you over, but NO, I also have two of my nieces in the vehicle. Yes, you can trust us with all of this, but it does add to any worry and anxiety I ALREADY had! So now we are driving, not our car, pulling not our boat, driving not just our children when it starts to storm. We are driving unfamiliar roads, in the dark, during a storm. Tim is looking at me as calm as be as I am the worrying enough for everyone in the state of Virginia! As the storm starts to subside he begins to understand my worry, though he doesn’t agree with this worry he does at least acknowledge “oh, I suppose the storm isn’t helping…” YA THINK? Once the storm does stop, we spot at least 5 deer along the road. So, we say “goodbye” to one worry and add yet another one. Avoiding deer with both the car and the boat!
He looked at me, I am sure I looked like I would be sick at any moment and says “you look like you are about to jump out of an airplane.” What he doesn’t realize is I feel like I am jumping out the airplane without a parachute!
Now, to the parents with my children right now, I trust you, I know they will be safe and are having fun. I just worry and, of course miss them!!
I added some pictures to my gallery…don’t forget to check it out!! Click on any picture to view bigger!
Even funnier!!!! It is allll good!!! I know you worry! You worry when they are in your care, so I am not offended! This is not the same as ‘no offense, but…..’! If it makes you feel any better, the time is going by WAY too fast!!!!! We are having a blast! BG tomorrow, then the DAY comes when you have a decision to make….DA DA DA DAAAAA!!!!! Still haven’t found out the prices, but I know that is what you are waiting for…to not to have to make the decision!
You did great and made it home safe
