I did have some help naming my blog, but when I heard “Spilled Milk” I knew it had to be mine! When I read people’s blogs, most of the time they are about happy things. They make you feel good, you want to read them, they help you forget about your own life for awhle. Not that my life is awful, but there are times, I would much rather be in someone elses world, even if just for a minute! My blog might not always be about happy things, or even important things, but I hope you get a chance to read it from time to time…and maybe it won’t make you feel good, but it might make you realize you are not alone; and that someone else has cried over “spilled milk.”
My friend, Laura, at catnamedpig.com had some REAL issues over spilled milk this last weekend. Her husband brought in 2 gallons of milk, there was some confusion over who was really holding it, he let go, down went the milk, and yes; they had spilled milk. And yes, Laura did cry. You see, milk is getting expensive! It is awful to waste anything, but with a high price tag, OUCH!

I love the site name — spills go with the territory of being a parent, but so does a sense of humor! (Which I maybe need to work on, given that an exploding gallon of milk actually reduced me to tears.) Nothing like blogging to get some perspective on the ups and downs of life with kids.
